Accelerating AMP8 delivery through smart early enabling works, standardised design solutions, and integrated 3D coordination to reduce risk, improve efficiency, and streamline future installation phases.

Overview

To accelerate the AMP8 programme and de-risk downstream delivery, YTL onstruction fast-tracked early enabling works at Bishops Caundle WRC. By leveraging a standard product design and strong cross-disciplinary oordination, the team delivered a new ferric slab and bund ahead of schedule (mid-January 2026), enabling dry-installation of the ferric dosing unit before main works commence. The approach shortens installation time, reduces cost, and increases sequencing flexibility for the wider AMP8 scheme.
